Ah, the Black Lake. Full of watery horrors. This was what Andi's eye was on as she walked out of the school. The morning was chilly, and the instant she stepped outside she regretted not taking her jacket. With a shiver and a sigh, she started to walk forward. Her slippered feet only made muffled thumps on the smooth, dewy grass. She sat down by the lake and dipped her feet inside just a little bit. As she saw a splash in the water, she quickly pulled them out, just in time to see some kind of fish tail disappear into the depths of the water. She looked at her wet toes, then curled her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around her legs.
The icy wind was blowing, creating little ripples on the surface of the water. The auburn leaves danced before falling onto the ground. Andi shivered again. The sun flashed so brilliantly for a second that she had to blink. Despite the cold breeze, the morning was beautiful. Dry, crispy leaves crackled underfoot as she stood up. To think that soon this whole land would soon be covered in soft snow was a warm thought to think, except for the fact that when the winter came, the days would become even colder.

Wearing her favourite black trench coat and skinny trousers that clung to her frame, Bellatrix left the castle and headed out into the open grounds. Although it had been somewhat warm inside the building, she had taken precautions and wraped herself up to keep out the cold chill that lingered in the air. Stuffing her hands carelessly into her pockets, Bella wandered down towards the Black Lake, expecting it too be deserted during such a cold time. It was a favourite spot of hers in the summer, and she had spent most of her time sitting by it with the other Slytherins, discussing various things in relation to leaving school and going in search of better, darker things beyond the castle walls. Of course, their conversation had been limited due to nosy, pesky students that often thrived to find out the business of the Slytherins, but it was something Bella adored talking about all the same.
As Bellatrix was so indulged in her thoughts, she had not noticed the other person sitting almost directly infront of her. Even when the dark haired girl realised she was not alone, it took her a moment or two to figure out that it was no mere 'other person', and happened to be her younger sister - Andromeda. Although Bellatrix did not desire the Ravenclaws company, she decided that it was her own choice if she wanted to sit beside the lake, and that she was going to do so. With her hands still deep in her coat pockets, Bella rested the tips of her fingers on her wand, just incase something arose between the two girls. Unsure of whether to speak civily or instantly insult the other, the Slytherin waited a moment or two before simply stating, "Andromeda." in a quick greeting, accompanied by a bow of the head towards the Black Lake before her, which was now starting to dance slightly as the wind picked up once more.

"Andromeda."
Andi looked behind her to see her older sister, Bellatrix. "Hello, Bellatrix." she replied, in a voice not friendly but not exactly icy either. She accompanied the sentence with a slight bow of her head just as Bella had done. Why is she here? she thought, but instantly remembered seeing Bellatrix with her disgusting Slytherin friends sitting by the Black Lake. Of course, this is where the Slytherins sat and gossiped. The Black Lake...full of horror stories....any evil Slytherin would like to sit here and if not alone, have a nice gossip with their friends. She noticed Bella's hand in her pocket, probably on her wand. Feeling a little bit nervous, she recollected that she had not brought a wand out with her. Great, she told herself, Just what I need!
Making a choice to ignore her sister until she said something, Andi stared out across the Black Lake. The dark water swirled and twinkled. The surface of the lake was also littered with leaves. They were rapidly falling, even though it was so early in the autumn. She brushed a leaf out of her hair with a relaxed hand. All her worries were gone. There was just one little voice in the back of her head saying, "it's your sister! It's your sister! It's your sister, right there, you cannot ignore her! She'll hex you!" Since she could not ignore it, she walked toward a tree behind Bellatrix and leaned on it. The bark tickled her skin. All the time, she was keeping her face expressionless. The reason being, she was thinking, if I'm angry, Bella will become angry and probably hex me. If I'm happy, she'll get aggravated and hex me anyway. She would have preferred a person from another house, or at least another Slytherin. Even though Bella was her sister she felt uncomfortable around her.
